Construction of Divisional Offices of the Department of Narcotics Control with Testing Laboratories in Three Divisions: Khulna, Rangpur and Mymensingh

The project, titled “Construction of Divisional Offices of the Department of Narcotics Control with Testing Laboratories in Khulna, Rangpur, and Mymensingh Divisions,” aims to modernize infrastructure to boost anti-drug initiatives across Bangladesh. It involves establishing state-of-the-art divisional offices and advanced chemical testing laboratories to create a secure work environment and ensure the rapid, accurate testing of seized narcotics for speedier judicial outcomes. Ultimately, this initiative seeks to protect the youth from substance abuse, reduce addiction rates, and support the nation's socio-economic development. Implemented between January 2026 and December 2028, the project has an estimated budget of BDT 15,215.78 lakh.
