The project involves a nationwide feasibility study for upgrading approximately 420 Upazila Health Complexes to 101-bed facilities. The study assesses existing infrastructure, land availability, healthcare demand, structural condition, utility systems, environmental considerations and preliminary costs. It also evaluates suitable options for new construction, extension, renovation, retrofitting and replacement of unsafe buildings. The study will provide a technical basis for developing modern, accessible, safe and climate-resilient healthcare facilities across Bangladesh.
