Establishment of a 1000 Bed Bangladesh-China Friendship General Hospital to Provide Advanced Medical Services

The “Establishment of a 1000-Bed Bangladesh-China Friendship General Hospital to Provide Advanced Medical Services” project aims to develop a modern tertiary healthcare facility in Nilphamari Sadar, Rangpur Division. Implemented by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), the hospital will provide advanced medical, diagnostic, and emergency healthcare services for the greater northern region of Bangladesh. With an estimated cost of BDT 245,934.97 lakh, the project is expected to improve healthcare accessibility and strengthen regional health infrastructure. The implementation period is January 2026 to December 2029.
